Watch Coldplay, Beyonce's Colorful 'Hymn for the Weekend' Video

Coldplay and Beyoncé headed to India and celebrated Holi, the festival of colors and love, in the gorgeous video for "Hymn for the Weekend," their collaborative cut from the band's A Head Full of Dreams. The video arrives just over a week before the band and the pop star perform together at Super Bowl 50 on February 7th.

Ben Mor directed the clip, which also stars Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor. Coldplay filmed on location in Mumbai, India, and the band can be seen performing the track while covered in colors that are traditionally tossed around by celebrants of the religious holiday. Beyoncé plays a film star who is seen on television sets and billboards across the city, while Chris Martin is shown heading to a movie theatre to watch her sing in front of ornate backgrounds and wearing elaborate dresses, jewelry and henna tattoos.

"Hymn for the Weekend" is the latest single from Coldplay's seventh album, which was released in December. The LP features guest spots from Noel Gallagher, Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy Carter. "Hymn for the Weekend" joins Head Full of Dreams videos "Birds" and "Adventure of a Lifetime."

In December, Coldplay was revealed as the headliners for Super Bowl 50, with Bruno Mars, the 2014 Super Bowl performer, also slated to appear. Confirmation of Beyoncé's inclusion came earlier this month when Pepsi confirmed that the singer would return three years after she played the high profile gig herself
